Villa Solaia – Siena

On the gorgeous Sienese landscape, immersed in the world-renowned vineyards, arises Villa Solaia, an elegant seventeenth century compound owned by Piccolomini-Clementini family. The restoration project aims to preserve the most significant features of the villa and, at the same time, to increase all of those aspects that have been lost during the years. The huge sequential living rooms, the dining room facing the “limonaia” and the big central kitchen have been restored with the maximum possible attention to details and with a total respect for the historical value. Thanks to a deep historical research, ancient spaces have been re-established. The Middle Age monastery will be converted into an Art School. The vast green spaces have been retrained and, in addition to the restoration processes, the ancient splendor of the villa has been recovered.
