Directional and industrial headquarter for Kortimed España, a company specializing in food and chemical liquids’ transportation. The building will satisfy the company’s needs to clean the tanks: it will have 4 washing runways and a next-gen purifier to clean-up waste water. The main aim is to combine the industrial function with the directional one in the same building that has to be functional and aesthetically pleasant. There will be a high glazed hall, that emphasizes the entrance, with a glass lift and a helical staircase going to the first floor where the directional offices are placed.
The building reminds to an eagle, mark of the company:
– the wings: the huge (more than 10 metres long) overhangs are running all around the building and the curved rooftop is reaching the ground level on the back-side of the building
– the feathers: a modular façade (1x1m) accommodates Porcelanosa tiles. The tiles will be fixed on some concrete’s blocks with different dimensions, the facades will be settled with those modules willed with different orientation in order to liven up the surface. Five different colour shadings had been chosen to turn the building from white (of the tip) till blue (of the tale)
– the eye: visible on both the sides of the glazed tip of the building
A minor building will be realized next to the purifier to serve as a garage to repair vehicles. This building has two slanted facades overhanging to the outdoor, it will be coated with Porcelanosa tiles as well.
